Product Features

The DURASHUTTER™ is a single-skinned steel shutter consisting of concave, solid or perforated profiles. This door offers good security, wind resistance, ventilation qualities and improved visual contact. The product is specifically designed for low to medium vehicle flow applications.

Offered with our selection of quality features and options this product is best suited for most door way applications.

Roller Shutters Door Slat Options

Solid curtain types are standard but can be provided in perforated, vented screen, vision panel or insulated slats.

Flat Insulated Slats

Double skinned shutters offer increased security, wind resistance and insulation. Insulation is optimised with the use of 20mm thick foam filled curtain slats giving a R-Value of 4.1

Flat Perforated Slats

Providing the ultimate in security and visibility, the perforated security door helps prevent forced entry, theft and vandalism. The perforated design allows unobstructed vision of displays and merchandise.

Vision-Vent Panels

For light transmission and visibility we can provide 100mm x 25mm vision slots. Ideal for vented car park situations or where more light is needed inside the premises.

Specifications

Size

Maximum height: 7500mm. Maximum width: 7000mm. Maximum door dimensions may vary depending on wind loading and application details.

Curtain

Shall be constructed from individual roll-formed, interlocking galvanized steel slats of 100mm profile. The thickness of the steel is determined per application depending on door size and wind loading.

Wind lock clips shall be fitted to suit specially designed guide channels and can be fixed to the slats as required or specified.

Finish

Mill finished galvanized steel or to any powder coated colour finish from the standard range.

Guides

2.0 to 3.0 thick galvanized steel slide guides. Windlock guides are recommended for openings over 6.0 wide.

Bottom Rail

Manufactured from a specially extruded heavy duty aluminium section which interlocks to the bottom slat. A neoprene weather strip is fitted to the bottom rail

Ventilation

(optional) Ventilation to the roller shutter curtain can be provided by either slotted slats or perforated slats.

Motorization

An electrical motor of suitable rating would be mounted at a high level to the gear end of the bracket, the motor being complete with controlling limits, and emergency hand chain facility. A standard starter unit would also be provided with raise, lower and stop buttons.
Manual operation: Spring balanced and manual operation by hand chain is available on smaller size doors.

Warranty

Provide manufactures standard three (3) year warranty from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Springs are warranted for 20,000 cycles. This limited warranty will only be valid if a preventative maintenance programme is in place.

Installation

Rudnev DURASHUTTER™ doors shall be installed and adjusted according to factory installation instructions by trained door system technicians.
