Raynor Sizes Up Hyundai Showroom
William Gill Hyundai have built a new attractive commercial vehicle showroom at their site on Grayson Ave, Wiri, Auckland.
The showroom is used to display large commercial vehicles, necessitating the need for a large opening to the building. The door for this opening had to be robust, have good sealing yet be attractive in appearance. The initial design included two small doors which was not ideal. The solution was one large Raynor Thermaseal™ sectional door.
The Thermaseal™ installed had sections from powdercoated roll formed steel over an expanded polyurethane core, giving an R value of 16.4.
Heavy duty 75mm track fixed with continous angle mounting was used.
A Raynor Powerhoist™ trolley motor lifts the door, and Rudnev has used Dual Trolleys to raise the door on two arms to reduce the stress on the door top panel.
