Rudnev is One-Stop-Shop for Hansells
Fast Acting doors and Fire Curtains supplied to Hansells expansion.
Food manufacturer Hansells Foods completed the expansion of its Penrose factory in September 2011. The new facility on Botha Rd includes food processing, warehousing and an innovation centre.
Sister Companies Rudnev and Ace Door Systems provided the specialist door solutions for the new plant, with Labo 5 fast acting doors and Fireroll Fire Curtains.
Hygiene Separation
The new premises is run to the strictest of hygiene controls. Rudnev and Ace Doors were involved in the supply and installation of 6 fast acting Nergeco Labo5 doors, and 2 horizontal opening high speed doors. The fast acting doors provide area separation for critical hygiene control.
Fire Separation
Rudnev also provided the fire separation between fire cells with their Fireroll™ fire curtains. The Fireroll™ fire curtains provide a fire rating between fire cells ensuring complicance with NZ Fire Safety Standards. The fire curtains descent under gravity upon fire system activation, with their 60 min fire rated fabric closing the door opening.
